South Korea‘s telecom giants have completed the development of a joint 5G network in rural areas, enabling 5G access.

According to the Ministry of Science and ICT on Thursday, the three major telecom carriers ? SK telecom Co., KT Corp. and LG Uplus Corp. ? have completed building a joint 5G network for rural areas, two months ahead of the initial plan for completion by the first half of this year.

The Ministry of ICT plans to continue to inspect the stability and quality of the network in the covered areas to ensure improved network stability and quality.
