South Korea’s Seoul System said on Tuesday that it signed a business agreement with Naver Cloud Co. to enhance the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of its content management system (CMS) for media companies.

Seoul System is a company that develops programs required for the news content production process of media companies and plans to use Naver Cloud‘s AI technology to strengthen its CMS, newspaper typesetting system (CTS), and web service management system.

The company will incorporate various AI technologies from Naver Cloud, including speech-to-text (STT) technology, Papago, and HyperCLOVA X. It also aims to develop AI capabilities that are required by media companies, such as writing articles and translating non-Korean news stories.
