Samsung SDS Co. President and Chief Executive Officer Hwang Sung-woo will take the stage as a keynote speaker at Dell Technologies World (DTW) 2024, alongside Nvidia Corp. CEO Jensen Huang and other industry giants. The company is the information technology (IT) service unit of South Korea’s Samsung Group.

DTW is an annual information technology (IT) exhibition hosted by Dell Technologies Inc. that will take place in Las Vegas, the United States, from May 20th to 23rd, 2024.

According to industry sources on Wednesday, Hwang will take the stage as a keynote speaker on the first day of the event and give a speech on “The Future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Hyperautomation.”

He is one of four keynote speakers presenting on the innovations led by AI. The first keynote speaker will be Michael Dell, chairman of Dell Technologies, followed by Bill McDermott, chairman of ServiceNow, Inc, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Hwang.

The “Hyperautomation” that Hwang will present in his speech refers to a technology that automates office tasks seamlessly through generative AI.

This is the first time that Samsung SDS’ CEO is participating in the event as a keynote speaker. Although Hwang‘s official schedule beyond the keynote speech has not been disclosed, he is expected to meet with various participants and discuss ways to cooperate in the AI field. Given that Dell personally invited Hwang, he will likely participate in discussions on collaboration with various IT companies.

“Hwang was invited by Dell to participate as a keynote speaker alongside industry giants,” a Samsung SDS official said. ”We therefore expect various business discussions to take place.“

DTW is primarily attended by enterprise IT professionals and developers, who set up exhibition booths and conduct seminars and panel discussions during the event. Dell also announces new products and solutions during the event.
