South Korean equipment manufacturer Doosan Bobcat under Doosan Group has supplied 4 small-sized excavators and 1 loader to anthropologists in Rome to help them unearth remains and artifacts of ancient Rome at the mausoleum of Roman emperor Augustus, according to multiple sources from the conglomerate industry Monday. The Korean brand’s equipment has been used at the mausoleum – a large tomb built by Augustus in BC 28 that is one of the biggest historic sites in Europe, for 2 years, suggesting that Doosan Bobcat equipment is fit well in work to uncover cultural relics with high archaeological value requiring delicacy.
