KSOE adds 9 ship orders worth $1.2 bn

Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) added nine new orders worth 1.56 trillion won ($1.24 billion). The shipbuilding holding company of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group on Thursday announced it signed contracts with shipping companies in Europe and Central and South America to build three large-scale LNG carriers of more than 200,000 square meters and six 8,000 Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) cargo vessels.
