SK Plasma’s $14.2 million worth of blood products to head for the Middle East

Korea’s pharmaceutical firm SK Plasma has signed a contract to export 17.2 billion won ($14.2 million) worth of blood products to AKSIA Health Care FZC, a regional health care company based in UAE. The blood products to be exported include immunoglobulin product ‘LIV-Gamma’ and therapeutic substance derived from human blood ‘Albumin’. AKSIA is licensed to sell the blood products to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
