Seoul Robotics, a 3D computer vision company based in Seoul, has won over multinational auto brands like BMW, Volvo and Mercedez-Benz with its AI-guided solution for LiDAR sensors, and envisions listing with the Nasdaq, according to the startup CEO.

The company’s SENSR (Smart 3D Perception Engine) has gained global recognition, and “It’s only a matter of time before the company gains considerable market share and a major increase in sales” aid HanBin Lee, CEO of Seoul Robotics.

With current valuation at $355 million, the company nears achieving monthly sales of $8 million and envisions NASDAQ listing “not far away,” he added.

The perception engine is compatible with nearly all LiDAR sensors. It is applied to various industries, including AV/ADAS, smart city, smart factory, security, retail and many more.

SENSR uses AI and machine learning to process raw data from 3D sensors, especially LiDAR sensors, in real time. Seoul Robotics developed its own algorithms to understand 3D point cloud data to detect, classify, and track objects with accuracy, without collecting any biometric data. Unlike other autonomous driving engines, SENSR provides AV/ADAS solutions without HD maps. It provides competitive advantages in filtering snow and rain, and processing data regardless of the lighting conditions.

Seoul Robotics` major clients include BMW, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and three other Japanese automobile companies, and has partnered with OEMs, system integrators, and government agencies around the world to diversify the use of 3D data.
