Shopee, Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, is all set to unleash its ever-popular celebration of bargains and offers with this year’s edition of “Shopee 11.11 Big Sale” billed as the biggest yet!
An absolutely massive range of unbeatable offers in more than 25 categories is featured, including the super tempting daily discount which can reach as much as 90% off, Shopee Vouchers worth up to 1,111 baht, plus free shipping with no minimum spend, and much more.
On top of the tantalising consumer promotions – not to mention the super charge given to participating e-commerce growth – the yearly sale has developed into an event that gives back to the greater community. A view Suchaya Paleewong, Senior Marketing Manager at Shopee Thailand, is keen to take up.
● A digital-first future
“Our year-end shopping festivals have evolved to be more than about the deals. Shopee has pioneered efforts to expand our digital ecosystem to help more consumers, businesses and communities’ access and benefit from e-commerce,” she says.
“As we gradually emerge from the pandemic, we aim to bring more joy to shoppers by curating the best deals, so that they can save more on the things they love. We will also make 11.11 more meaningful and impactful by providing better support to help businesses of all shapes and sizes grow together. In particular, we want to uplift underserved local communities, so that we can all move forward into a digital-first future together.”
By introducing new initiatives to inspire consumers, such as 5 million special welcome gifts for new users, Shopee will encourage more people to sign up and experience the benefits of e-commerce. The initiatives include the chance to win bigger prizes such as Shopee Coins, a car or even a house! New users will get a special discount of up to 1,111 baht when they pay their bills with ShopeePay, whereas existing customers will have a chance to get 40% Shopee Coins Cash Back when they top up their mobile phone with ShopeePay.

Shopee’s commitment to the community reaches even further, with the CSR campaign ‘Shopee Ruam-Jai Fight Covid’ to support Thais impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with big name celebrities from the Shopee Celebrity Club, together with leading brand partners on Shopee Mall.
“In line with our mission to improve the quality of life of people through technology and return happiness to society, Shopee has carried out various CSR activities over the years. In particular, during the pandemic where many parties have been facing hardships and challenges, Shopee commits to stand by everyone’s side through the ‘Shopee Ruam-Jai Fight Covid’ project, in partnership with its network members who share the same mission to create a bigger impact and give back to society.”
Through Shopee, donations will be passed on to more than 30 charities and foundations throughout Thailand to support the wider community.
