Samsung Galaxy Note 20 to arrive in market earlier than planned at cheaper prices

The next series of Samsung Electronics’ iconic phablet Galaxy Note 20 will arrive earlier than expected at possibly cheaper prices in hopes to bring better results than the Galaxy S20.

Preorders for the new Galaxy Note 20 will start on August 14, with the official launch date scheduled for August 21. The virtual unpacked event is set for August 5.

Sales of the Galaxy S20 series, which came out last March, were 60 to 80 percent lower compared with its predecessors as demand dried up amid the pandemic.

Some experts predict Samsung may lower the price tag for the new Galaxy Note 20 to prop up flagging demand.
