South Korea¡¯s Kia Motors Corp. on Wednesday revealed teaser images of the upgraded version of its flagship large-sized sport utility vehicle (SUV) Mohave ahead of its release in September.

It is the latest, second facelift of the flagship SUV in three years since the automaker upgraded the car for the first time in 2016. Kia¡¯s Mohave, known as Kia Borrego in North America and China, debuted in 2008 as the largest in Kia¡¯s SUV lineup.

The rendering suggested the new Mohave dubbed as Mohave The Master will come with an enhanced, wholly-changed exterior design to give a unique and luxurious look. Its exterior design is based on the Mohave Masterpiece concept car unveiled at this year¡¯s Seoul Motor Show in March, and the word Master shows its hope to lead the burgeoning SUV market with its improved designs, Kia Motor said.

The new Mohave features a bigger radiator grille, vertically arranged daytime running lights with a cubic shape, and LED headlights. With newly applied 20-inch wheels and slimmer roof racks, the car gives a sportier new look.
