South Korea¡¯s largest parcel delivery service company CJ Logistics Corp. will operate the Asian regional logistics center for iHerb, California-based health food supplier, from next year.
The logistics and distribution center located at the free trade zone nearby the Incheon International Airport commands a space of 30,000 square meters, the company said.
iHerb is a California-based online retailer that sells more than 35,000 natural products to 150 countries. The center will be responsible for shipping products to Asia.
¡°We¡¯ll build a distribution center employing cutting-edge technologies for nutritional supplements, vitamins and other health products with an aim to make it fully operational early next year,¡± said a CJ Logistics official.
Overseas distribution center can create 300 jobs and generate economic benefits worth 100 billion won ($9.3 million), according to the Korea Customs Service.
