K-pop superstar BTS broke another record as it landed its fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with its latest mini album ¡®BE¡¯.

The album, released on Nov. 20, earned 242,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the first week of its release, Billboard said Monday, citing Nielsen Music/MRC data.

¡®BE¡¯ is the second album of the Korean boyband to top Billboard¡¯s main chart this year, following Map of the Soul: 7, which debuted at No. 1 in March.

Previous chart-toppers include Love Yourself: Tear, Love Yourself: Answer, and Map of the Soul: Persona.

The septet has swept the American music awards in 2020, winning Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards for the fourth straight year. At the recent American Music Awards, it took home awards for Favorite Duo or Group in Pop/Rock and Favorite Social Artist.

It also became the first K-pop artist to earn a nod from the Grammys. Its hit single ¡°Dynamite¡± was nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, competing with the likes of "Intentions" by Justin Bieber, featuring Quavo; "Rain On Me" by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande; and Taylor Swift`s "Exile," featuring Bon Iver. The Grammy Awards will be held on Jan. 31.
