The 2019 Kartrider League Season 2, this year’s championship tournament for Korea’s iconic race game Crazyracing Kartrider published by Nexon Co., has concluded Saturday with winners of Lee Jae-hyeok in the singles and SANDBOX Gaming in the team.

In the grand final for teams, SANDBOX Gaming beat out Hanwha Life Esports with a 2-0 score line.
The Kartrider League, launched in May 2005, is the country’s oldest e-sports league held the most 27 times in 14 years.

Meanwhile, Nexon in its surprise announcement earlier said it would not join this year’s Game Show & Trade, All-Round (G-Star), an annual trade show for the computer and video game industry organized by the Korea Trade Promotion Agency, running on Nov. 14-17 at Bexco in Busan to more focus on gaming service and development.
