▶The Index of Services in May 2018
1. In May, the Index of Services went down by 0.1 percent month-on-month owing to the decrease in `Information and communications` and `Water supply; sewage, waste management, materials recovery` despite the increase in `Human health and social work activities` and `Wholesale and retail trade`.
- In May, the Index of Services went up by 2.3 percent year-on-year owing to the rise in `Financial and insurance activities` and `Wholesale and retail trade` in spite of the drop in `Accommodation and food service activities` and `Arts, sports and recreation related services`.
