Nano science leader Hyeon Taeg-hwan and Chung Shin-a, CEO of Kakao Ventures are some of the speakers to this year’s MBN Y forum, annual mentoring forum hosted by Maekyung Media Group held this year online on February 24 and livestreamed on MBN Y Forum YouTube Channel.

Under the theme of ‘It’s YOU!’, Maeil Business Newspaper and Maeil Broadcasting Network (MBN) would stage 16 mentors from global, business, sports, culture and arts sectors who will share their secret to success and encourage the youth to believe in themselves and their dreams.

The so-called “16 heroes of our times” were hand-picked by young generations in their 20s and 30s.

This year’s choices include Hyeon Taeg-hwan, a world-leading scientist and distinguished professor of Seoul National University who is expected to win the Nobel Chemistry Prize; Chung Shin-a, CEO of Kakao Ventures; John LEE, CEO of Meritz Asset Management; Kim Dong-hyeon, mixed martial artist and UFC fighter; Son Yeon-jae, former rhythmic gymnast and current CEO of Leap Studio; singer-songwriter Lee Juck; and Stray Kids, next generation K-pop flagship group.

The forum will consist of opening speech and five sessions and close with a special performance by Stray Kids.

MBN Y Forum is usually packed with more than 4,000 young enthusiasts each year but this year, it will be livestreamed on YouTube due to the ongoing pandemic.
