GM Korea and two other foreign car brands will voluntarily recall a combined 830 vehicles in five models in South Korea for safety issues, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said Wednesday.

GM Korea will recall 483 units of Chevrolet Camaro sold from 2016 to 2017 and 191 units of Cadillac ATS and Cadillac CTS for faulty electronic power steering.

Ford Sales & Service Korea also found a defect in the rear suspension toe link that increases the noise and diminishes steering control, which could raise the risk of a crash, in five units of Ford Explorer sold in 2014.

Hankook Motor Trading – importer of Yamaha motorcycles – will voluntarily recall 151 units of Yamaha CZD300A that are found with risk of breakage in a front brake lever, which could lead to a fracture.

Toyota Motor found a problem in the reflex reflector in nine models including Lexus ES300h, and Ssangyong Motor found defects in the fuel pipe in 3,715 units of two models including Tivoli.
