Seoul Stn overpass joins the new 100 Must-Visit Tourist Spot list for Korea

South Korea hoping to catch foreign attention beyond K-pop and beauty products highlighted new attractions across the country in the latest issue of ¡°100 Must-Visit Tourist Spots of Korea¡± list.

Newcomers to the 2019-2020 ¡°100 Must-Visit Tourist Spots of Korea¡± list compiled by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Tourism Organization every two year include the refurbished overpass called Seoullo 7017 near Seoul train station in the country¡¯s capital and Marine City, a hip area in the southern coastal city of Busan.

This is the fourth update to the guidebook.

The latest issue covers 21 new travel locations in Korea including Mount Sogeum known for its scenic views from the Swing Bridge and the Mancheonha Skywalk in Danyang where visitors can look down at beautiful valley below a glass walkway.

Koreans¡¯ all-time favorite travel destinations including Hanok Village in Jeonju, Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju, Baekje Historic Areas in Gonju stayed in the top 100 must-go tour guide for the fourth time.

The top 100 tourist spots are picked based on the evaluation of 13 tourism specialists and big data analysis on tourist places.

The latest issue of the travel guide will be available in various foreign languages including English, Japanese, and Chinese via Korea Tourism Organization¡¯s website www.visitkorea.or.kr.
