South Korean mobile carrier SK telecom Co. said on Monday that it will organize a promotional event for its subscribers to celebrate its e-sports team T1’s victory in the the League of Legends World Championship 2023.

SK telecom will offer gifts to 5,234 subscribers aged between 14 and 34 through a draw.

The top gift will be a tour ticket to the western United States, where the headquarters of League of Legends developer Riot Games Inc. is located.

T1 defeated its Chinese rival, Weibo Gaming, 3-0 to win this year’s championship in Seoul on Sunday.

SK telecom has been playing its role as an active sponsor for the Korean multi-gaming organization SKT T1 since the establishment in 2004.

The biggest shareholder in the team is SK square Co. (55.4 percent), which spun off from SK telecom in 2021.
