BBQ, one of South Korea’s leading fried chicken brands, opened a new restaurant in Manhattan, New York, its operator Genesis BBQ said Friday.

The new restaurant marks as the Korean fried chicken franchise operator’s second directly-managed outlet in the United States. The Manhattan outlet has a “grab-and-go” section on the first floor for takeout orders and sit-in area on the second floor.

Genesis BBQ plans to open its third directly-run fried chicken restaurant in Englewood, New Jersey by the end of this year.

The company opened its first outlet in the U.S. in 2017. It now operates 150 fried chicken eateries in 20 states across the U.S., including the two directly-run outlets in New York City.
