Leaked images of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 series show that Samsung Electronics Co.¡¯s next premium foldable phones are fitted with an under-display camera and S-pen stylus as rumored.
SamMobile.com, an online information-sharing blog dedicated to Samsung Mobile devices, revealed that the South Korean tech giant¡¯s new foldable smartphone models will come up with a bigger external display design plus under-display camera and S Pen features.
The latest teased images of the Z Flip 3 suggest that the new clamshell foldable smartphone will be offered in a wide range of case colors with a two-tone approach and a larger external display than its predecessor.
The larger screen can be inferred from the leaked image that shows a three-line text message on the external display, according to the images. This is in line with consumers¡¯ suggestion that the new series comes with a bigger screen. The two-camera arrangement has also been changed from horizontally to vertically.
A new ¡°Armor Skin¡± or ¡°Armor Layer¡± is also newly applied to the hinge and bezel to further improve the durability and make the phone lighter.

The leaked images of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which turns like a book, feature an under-display camera (UDC) and S Pen. If it is confirmed to be true when the new Galaxy Z Fold is officially unveiled later this year, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the world¡¯s first foldable smartphone with an under-display camera, which no camera is seen on the internal display when the device is unfolded, the online blog said.
The images also revealed that Samsung Electronics¡¯ signature stylus S Pen is included in the new foldable phone series as rumored. The stylus can be used to take notes simultaneously with a video call. When the device is put on a desk with the display folded at 90 degrees, the upper screen can be used for video calling and the lower one for notetaking.
The two new Z models may be unveiled in July after an unpack event.
