South Korean electronics makers are enjoying a boon in home appliance sales in America thanks to a buying spree on washers and refrigerators amid coronavirus lockdowns with relief paychecks.
Samsung Electronics Co.¡¯s home appliance sales in the United States nearly doubled in May compared to a year earlier, according to industry sources on Sunday.
LG Electronics Inc. reported significant rebound in white goods sales.
