South Korea’s Samsung C&T Corp. bagged a $977 million order to build a power plant in the United Arab Emirates.

Under the deal signed with F3 Holding Company B.V., Samsung C&T will build a 2,400-megawatt F3 power plant at Qidfa, Emirate of Fujairah, about 300 kilometers northeast of Abu Dhabi, according to the company’s regulatory filing on Tuesday. The project is to be completed in April 2023.

The company said its strong project portfolio in the Middle East has led to the latest order. Its construction projects in the Gulf region include Al Shuweihat S2 Independent Water and Power Project in the U.A.E. and Riyadh and Qurayyah independent power project in Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday, Samsung C&T shares closed 0.42 percent higher at 117,500 won ($95.59) in Seoul.
