South Korea’s leading advertising agency Cheil Worldwide Inc. has won a total of 16 coveted statues – one in gold, five in silver and 10 in bronze – plus 10 finalists at this year’s London International Awards held in Las Vegas, the U.S.
The most well received work was “Unquiet Voices” campaign with ANAIS Association by its Romanian subsidiary Cheil Centrade Romania that it acquired last year.
The 40-minute film split in chapters, in which seven victims of domestic violence break the silence and give voice to abused characters in silent movies, was awarded a gold and a silver statues in the branded entertainment category.
Cheil Brazil’s “The Waste Measure” campaign with local organic juice brand greenpeople earned two silvers by showing the exact amount of water waste in a simple and effective way with a special edition of water bottles.
Other silver-winning works include “BACK2LIFE” campaign by Cheil PengTai and Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong, which offers an easy way to learn life-saving CPR, and “Bixby Voice Forever” by the Seoul headquarters.
Meanwhile, Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong was named the regional agency of the year for Asia after taking home 10 statues this year.
London International Awards, held every year since 1986, honors excellence in advertising, digital media, production, design, music & sound and branded entertainment.
