Genesis, Hyundai Motor’s design-focused luxury brand, has released the 2020 year model of G70 compact sedan with upgraded features.

For 2020, the South Korean automaker revamped the model by improving safety features, such as comprehensive monitoring system for avoiding collision, camera to keep the car from accidental lane change, and radars for detecting blind spots, according to the company on Wednesday.

The company noted the new G70 model is fitted with a new air purification system that automatically blocks filthy air from flowing in when entering a tunnel by analyzing the location of the car and its traveling speed. Moreover, the new model comes with various customization options such as carbon fiber steering wheel bezel.

The G70 lineup in Korea includes three power-train options - a 2.2-liter turbocharged, a 3.3-liter turbocharged, and a 2.2-liter diesel. The price of 2.2-liter model starts at 38,480,000 won ($32,500), 3.3-liter at 46,580,000 won, and the diesel model at 41,720,000 won.

“Genesis G70 was named the MotorTrend 2019 Car of the Year and also the 2019 North American Car of the Year,” said a Genesis official, adding that the 2020 model is designed to offer even better performance.
