South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Co. released a sneak peek of its new mid-sized truck, officially named “Pavise”, which will debut at home and abroad next month.

According to the rendering, the Pavise features a new radiator grille that gives a stiff, bold and protective image. The inside is fitted with various convenient features with sophisticated designs for long distance drivers.

Pavise, which refers to an oblong shield used by archers and infantry soldiers in medieval times, is also an acronym for practical, adaptable, volume, information, safe and economical, according to the company.

With the addition, Hyundai Motor now commands a full truck lineup ranging from heavy Xcient and medium-duty Mega Truck, to smaller All-New Mighty and light Porter.

Hyundai Motor hopes the new truck can be another successful addition to the company’s vehicle lineup by fully satisfying customers’ demand in terms of safety, convenience, and efficiency.

The new truck will be showcased at the Hyundai Truck & Bus Business Fair to be held on Aug. 29-Sep. 1 at the KINTEX Exhibition Center in Gyeonggi Province, the Korean automaker announced Wednesday.
