During the event, Samsung Electronics introduced a music TV targeting Indian consumers who often enjoy music together. When listening to music, the TV¡¯s screen is fully switched to an audio mode.

The company also revealed a plan to apply a remote access function, which uses TV as a virtual PC hub, to all smart TVs sold in India in consideration of India`s low penetration rate in PC. Remote access is a function that allows users to access programs and apps of a PC or mobile devices nearby through a wirelessly connected TV set.

Other Samsung products in the limelight included a microwave oven with a function to cook more than 250 Indian foods and a refrigerator that can operate with solar energy during a frequent power outage in the country.
