Samsung`s Galaxy Note 9 tops six European consumer ratings

Despite poor sales, Samsung Electronics¡¯ new flagship Galaxy Note 9 smartphone swept consumer rating charts across Europe.

According to sources on Friday, the Korean IT giant won the No. 1 rating from six major consumer magazines in Europe - Stiftung Warentest in Germany, Consumentenbond in the Netherlands, Altroconsumo in Italy, OCU in Spain, Deco Proteste in Portugal, and Test Aankoop in Belgium. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus unveiled during the first half of this year were also ranked among the top five devices.

Galaxy Note 9 phablet launched in early August and the Galaxy S9 and S8 series dominated top five spots in ratings by Deco Proteste and Consumentenbond.

The Galaxy products clinched the top four spots in ratings by Altroconsumo, with the Apple iPhone 8 placing fifth.

Germany`s Stiftung Warentest gave top four spots to Samsung, placing the Huawei device at fourth and LG Electronics`s G7 ThinQ at fifth.

Samsung`s Galaxy Note 9 has been recognized for its long battery life, the availability of its S-pen, a superb camera function, and other top-notch features.
