South Korean rolling stock manufacturer Hyundai Rotem Co. Wednesday said it is exploring business opportunities identifying prospective customers at InnoTrans 2018, the world¡¯s largest trade fair for the railway industry.

The 12th exhibition taking place in Berlin, Germany on Sept. 18-21 is a biennial event and attracted some 3,000 companies and organizations from 61 countries this year.

Hyundai Rotem has arranged business meetings with top decision makers from railway authorities from Europe, Asia and the U.S. onsite to figure out their future business projects and opportunities to get new orders from them. It will also have meetings to strengthen the partnership with global suppliers such as Germany¡¯s Voith and France¡¯s Faiveley Transport. Hyundai Rotem set up a booth to demonstrate its solutions for tram, high-speed train and driverless vehicle systems.

Another booth installed to promote the company¡¯s technology is highlighting a sharp curve traveling device, the world`s first of such technology, which was unveiled in June.

The new device reduces the drivable curve radius from 25 £íeters to 15 £íeters, giving more freedom to a tram line design in a narrow urban environment.
