LG Electronics¡¯s signature Styler steamer is going smart as the white goods giant expands voice-activated AI features on its product lineup beyond air conditioners and washers.
The company announced on Thursday it will premiere the new AI-based Styler ThinQ at the IFA 2018 trade show to be held on Aug. 31 in Berlin, Germany.
The Styler ThinQ responds to voice commands with the wake phrase, ¡°Hi LG.¡± The system can turn itself on and off, start a cycle and set a course for clothes management according to voice commands. It also self-examines the system to find out any mechanical bug.
Among the company¡¯s clothes steamers available in the market, the Styler Plus allows users to manage up to six pieces of clothes and the Styler Mirror comes in handy as it doubles as a full-length mirror.
