South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc. has opened its premium home appliance brand LG Signature store in Kuwait to expand its presence in the upmarket consumer appliance market in the Middle East.

LG Electronics said on Tuesday it has opened its premium brand shop at Rozana Mall, one of the largest commercial districts in Kuwait. The two-story flagship store commanding a space of 433 square meters displays the entire high-end lineup ranging from OLED TV to washing machines and refrigerators.

The Korean electronics maker runs premium brand shops in other Middle Eastern countries including Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. It plans to add more stores at commercial districts in each country to strengthen its presence in the Middle East, an LG Electronics official said.

Meanwhile, LG Electronics held this year’s first innovation festival called InnoFest in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa. The company has taken the annual festival showcasing various types of products to emerging markets of Middle Eastern, Asian, and Latin American countries.
