Even real estate and infrastructure cannot pose a reliable investment alternative to stock and other traditional capital assets amid rising uncertainties in the global economy, and investors are invited to explore new options at the upcoming Global Alternative Investment Insights (GAII) to be held at The Hotel Shilla Seoul, on April 18, 2019.
The GAII 2019, a leading international conference about infrastructure, real estate and private equity funds (PEFs), will be held under the title of ‘New Dynamics within Alternative Investment’, co-hosted by Maekyung Media Group and the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK).
The event will begin with welcoming remarks by Maekyung Media Group Chairman Chang Dae-whan and ECCK Chairman Dimitris Psillakis and Kim Sun-joo, head of South Korea`s National Pension Service. Choi Hee-nam, chief executive of the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), which manages assets entrusted by the Bank of Korea, will deliver market insights and investment roadmaps in congratulatory messages.
The keynote speech will be given by Jae Yoon, Chief Investment Officer of New York Life Investment Management. Under the title of ‘Asset Owner CIO Perspectives: Capitalizing on the Next Dislocation`, Yoon will share investment ideas to respond to a possible market dislocation in a downturn.
Other interesting sessions will be offered by expert speakers on public-private partnership (PPP) investment, PEF, real estate strategy and social responsible investment.
※ The registration can be made until April 12. Details can be found at the GAII website or the GAII 2019 Secretariat Office at +822-6261-2713, or +822-2000-2809.
