Gyeongnam RobotLand Foundation revealed on Friday it recently signed a cooperation agreement with KNBIA, a business incubation association for the Gyeongnam region, to foster and support robotics companies.
Both organizations plan to identify and nurture robotics-related companies among the startups that are currently housed in or have graduated from their startup incubation center.
Gyeongnam RobotLand Foundation said it will provide support for these companies to use the equipment available at the foundation, as well as promoting business activities in the field of robotics to them.
The foundation has 35 occupancy spaces within its Robotics Research Center, with 20 companies currently in residence.
“We anticipate that by attracting robotics-related companies with high growth potential, we can activate the foundation’s Robotics Research Center. We will support the growth and development of startup and venture companies currently housed in the startup incubation center, including providing access to the foundation’s equipment,” Gyeongnam RobotLand Foundation head Choi Won-ki said.
