GC Medical Science (GCMS), an in-vitro diagnosis service provider under South Korea’s GC Pharma, will supply its test kits to two European companies in a deal worth $19 million in total.

GCMS on Tuesday said it signed a $8 million contract with the Switzerland-based Medisys International to deliver antigen diagnostic kits for COVID-19 as well as test kits that can detect both COVID-19 and influenza.

The products would be sold not only in Switzerland but also exported to France and Algeria, according to the company.

GCMS also nabbed a five-year deal totaling $11 million from Poland’s Hand-Prod to supply blood glucose meters and glycated hemoglobin measurement systems.

The company said the latest orders would help it broaden its reach beyond Asia, Africa and Latin America to the wider European market.
