Tsis Inc., information technology (IT) solutions company under South Korean conglomerate Taekwang Group, will make an inroad into the burgeoning robotic process automation (RPA) solutions market in partnership with the country’s leading RPA developer GridOne Co.

The company announced Friday that it signed a strategic partnership agreement with GridOne to develop RPA-based business operation systems.

RPA is a solution in which a software robot is programmed to conduct simple and repeated operations of a human worker, enhancing management productivity and efficiency by allowing workers to focus on high value-added work.

Tsis is an IT company responsible for system maintenance and integration of Taekwang Group units with abundant experience establishing next-generation large systems, playing a crucial role in carrying out operations in the fourth industrial revolution era within the conglomerate.

Tsis is hoping that the latest partnership will allow it to provide one-stop service to customers from business consulting to RPA establishment and maintenance by adding GridOne’s RPA technology and creating synergy with its own operations process and system development knowhow. GridOne is the leading artificial intelligence solutions developer and provider in Korea accounting for 70 percent or more of the local RPA market.

An unnamed official from Tsis said that the company will provide a diverse range of AI-based solution services based on RPA technology and contribute to generating high added value of corporations.
