South Korea¡¯s LG Electronics Inc. will bring Amazon¡¯s voice-enabled artificial intelligence platform Alexa to its 2019 TV series starting next week in the United States, prior to Europe and Asia.

The update will be implemented on the Alexa mobile app on LG¡¯s 2019 TV lineup with the ThinQ label - 20 models including UHD 4K-resolution OLED TVs and Nanocell TVs. Previous models like the 2018 lineup are not available the update.

Users can power on or off the TV, change the channel, and control the volume with voice command when they link their Amazon speakers with the downloaded Alexa app.

LG Electronics is planning to bring the support to customers in 14 countries including the U.S., Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Japan and Australia. Korean customers are expected to experience it by the end of this year.
