Two passenger jets collided at Gimpo Airport, a minor gateway in the capital of South Korea, on Tuesday amid heavy rain, causing slight damages to each plane and a delay in takeoffs. There were no human injuries.

A Boeing 777 Korean Air plane hit its rear against the wing of an Airbus 330 Asiana Airlines plane at around 8 a.m., according to Korea Airports Corp. The collision occurred while both planes were being moved by towing cars to their respective boarding gates.

No passengers were on board, except for a mechanic staff on each plane, but no one was hurt.

The accident caused a minor damage to each plane and a four-hour delay. The Korean Air plane due for Osaka departed at 1:05 p.m. and the Asiana Airlines plane bound for Beijing at 12:40 p.m.

With the two airlines shifting blame, airport authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident, including the possibility of a driving mishap of the towing cars.
