South Korea’s KB Kookmin Bank said on Wednesday it packaged a $145 million debt syndicate to finance a gas pipeline construction project in the United States.
The project is sponsored by Ares EIF for a gas pipeline construction in Pennsylvania, where no Korean builders are involved.
KB Kookmin Bank contributed to the loan with another Korean lender Shinhan Bank and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China. The rest is financed by Ares EIF.
KB Kookmin Bank invested $30 million in previous Ares project in April, 2017.
