South Korea’s leading chemical companies including LG Chem, SK Global Chemical and SK Chemicals will attend Asia’s largest plastics and rubber trade fair Chinaplas 2018 to show off their prowess in advanced value-added products. About 4,000 participants from 40 countries will promote their products at the 32nd Chinaplas 2018 to be held from April 24 to 27 in Shanghai, China.

For this year’s fair, LG Chem is preparing its base materials and batteries with a concept of "smart life solution" for men in their 30s at its exclusive booth commanding a space of 400 square meters with six zones – city zone, auto zone, laboratory zone, office zone, gym zone and home zone. It also is installing a vehicle model for future embedded with its auto part material technologies and a large-sized screen to introduce them.

SK Global Chemical and SK Chemicals plan to unveil their flagship products like packing materials, food containing materials and automotive interior and exterior materials at a combined booth commanding the largest-ever space of 306 square meters. SK Global Chemical will divide its space into three zones to display products for packaging, automotives and living, while SK Chemicals will focus on green and high value-added engineering plastics. SK Global Chemical’s high value-added ethylene acrylic acid SK Primacor brand and SARAN brand for polyethylene food wrap will be displayed, together with SK Chemicals’ ECOTRAN polyphenylene sulphide compounds.
