¢ºConsumer Survey for April 2018
1. The Composite Consumer Sentiment Index (CCSI) for April 2018 stood at 107.1, having thus fallen by 1.0 points compared to March.
- Consumer sentiments regarding current living standards and their future outlook remained the same as in March, at 95 and 102 respectively.
- Consumer sentiments as to future household income and spending were one point lower each than in the month before, at 102 and 107 respectively.
- Consumer sentiment related to current domestic economic conditions was one point less than in the preceding month at 86, and that regarding future domestic economic conditions one point less as well, at 96.
2. The expected inflation rate over the following year was 2.6%.
¡Ø 2,200 households nationwide were surveyed between April 10 and 17, 2018, and among them 1,968 responded.
