Paris Baguette, a leading bakery and patisserie brand of South Korea¡¯s food giant SPC Group, has added three more outlets at the Singapore Changi Airport, one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia.

SPC Group said on Wednesday that it has opened three more Paris Baguette outlets at the newly built Terminal 4 to run a combined four stores in the airport. It opened its first store in February 2014. The new additions in the airport raises total Paris Baguette stores in Singapore to seven.

Airport has become the bakery¡¯s new business focus after it reinforced ready-made meals and freshly made sandwiches.

SPC has turned more aggressive on the external front. Despite the diplomatic row over the installment of a U.S. antimissile shield in Korea, 27 more Paris Baguette stores opened in China this year, increasing the total number to 217. So far this year, it newly opened 37 stores overseas.

Paris Baguette runs 290 outlets in five countries including the United States, Singapore, Vietnam, France and China. The company plans to add 3,000 overseas stores run by 1,000 staffs by 2030.
