Lockheed Martin Korea CEO elected as new vice chief of AMCHAM

Lee Myung-chan, Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin Korea, was newly elected as vice chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM), AMCHAM announced on Monday.

There are seven members newly added to the list of Board of Governors of AMCHAM - AIG Korea CEO Steven Barnett, Johnson Controls Korea President Brad Buckwalter, Head of Seoul Foreign School Colm Flanagan, McDonald¡¯s Korea Managing Director Joh Joo-yun, Procter & Gamble Korea CEO Kim Joo-youn, Qualcomn Korea President Lee Te-won and Johnson & Johnson Medical Korea Managing Director Yoo Byung-jae. Ford Korea CEO Jung Jae-hee was re-elected as Governor.

¡°The newly-elected Board members will play a significant role in broadening advocacy and partnerships between AMCHAM member companies and the Korean government,¡± AMCHAM said in a press release.

The election was held via email during Chuseok holiday in the first week of this month.

AMCHAM Board comprises of one chairman, three vice chairmen, one treasurer, 18 governors, two honorary governors and three special advisers.
