À̹ÌÁö È®´ë South Korean women are turning bustier from westernized eating habit as C or bigger cups are the best-selling bra size for women in 20s, according to a local underwear maker.
During its annual free fitting campaign, underwear maker Good People Co. discovered that 34.14 percent of women in their 20s wear C cup or above, beating B cup with 34 percent and A cup with 31.75 percent.
The number of women in C cup or above grew about 13 percentage points from 21 percent in 2014 while those in A cup declined from 45 percent to the lowest share this year.
À̹ÌÁö È®´ë Women wearing A cup bras still accounted for the largest share of 38 percent, followed by B cup women with 33 percent and C cup with 28 percent. However when compared to the first survey done in 2014, the number of women in A cup decreased 13 percentage points while those in C cup increased 12 percentage points.
The average breast cup size is getting bigger for women of all ages as a result of better bra sizing, change in lifestyle and dietary habits and plastic surgery, an official from the lingerie maker said.
This year¡¯s event was held at Good People¡¯s brand stores including Body Guard, Yes and Sexy Cookie across the nation for two weeks from April 10. About 6,500 customers participated in the event.
