Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd., a British luxury automobile brand under German motor group BMW, has launched its own used car program in South Korea with hopes to expand its consumer base in the country.

Rolls-Royce said on Tuesday that it will offer customized used car services, Provenance program that certifies previously-owned Rolls-Royce vehicles, to Korean consumers. Rolls-Royce awards its own Provenance title to used cars after carrying out an extensive technical test on 100 items to guarantee full warranty to consumers that wish to buy pre-owned cars.

The program also offers financial consultation and product designing services, as well as help consumers sell their previously-owned vehicles regardless of the brand by offering a professional and transparent check-up of the vehicles.

According to Rolls-Royce, the automaker will provide the best service that makes up for its brand reputation in Korea and one-stop used car trading services ranging from financial consultation and vehicle checkup to warranty repair services.

Rolls-Royce, which celebrates its 15th anniversary in Korea, will also offer various promotional campaigns until the end of this year. As part of the event, consumers who purchase Rolls-Royce cars will receive warranty repair services for two years regardless of mileage limit as well as item replacement services.

Rolls-Royce, meanwhile, will launch its first sport utility vehicle Cullinan in Korea next week. Cullinan - which is priced from 400 million won ($360,000) - is the first three-box model (engine room, passenger seat, and luggage compartment) of the automaker¡¯s SUV segment produced based on its luxury architecture unveiled last year.
