JW Holdings to export products to Brazil and India

Korea¡¯s JW Holdings said Wednesday that it has signed agreements with two foreign pharmaceutical companies, SIF Participacoe of Brazil and Alniche Lifescience of India, to export its finished products, including nutritional solutions.

Under the agreements, JW Holdings will export six finished medicinal products, including its nutritional solutions (Combiflex Lipid Inj. and Combiplex MCT Peri Inj.), hair loss and prostatic hyperplasia drug Finasteride to Brazil. It will also export four of its nutritional solution products to India. The value of the agreements was not disclosed, but the contracts will be effective for five years and could be automatically renewed for another year.

JW Holdings said the agreements reflect the company¡¯s competitiveness in product quality and price and these will help stabilize its exports to the two countries.

On Wednesday, shares in JW Holdings fell 2.05 percent to close at 8,140 won ($7.55).
