KCC targets cosmetics ingredients market in Europe

KCC Beauty, a South Korean manufacturer of high-quality silicones for cosmetics and personal care products, has showcased over 40 high functional base ingredients for cosmetics at the world¡¯s largest personal care cosmetics ingredients trade show, hoping to improve its global image as a leading manufacturer of cosmetics ingredients and to open new overseas markets.

At the In-cosmetics Global 2018, an annual event that brings together exhibitors of ingredients, fragrances, and lab equipment, KCC Beauty, a brand owned by KCC Corp. engaged in coatings and specialty chemicals business, actively promoted its products. This year¡¯s exhibition was held between April 17 to 19 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The company displayed and introduced a total 41 types of products including resin blend and acrylate siloxane, which are functional base materials that help cosmetics last longer, elastomer powder that improves skin texture, and other high functional hybrid powder products and functional cosmetics dosage forms.

KCC Beauty said that its booth at the In-cosmetics Global event drew much attention from participants as it displayed high functional silicon products for cosmetics developed in line with rapidly changing trends in the global cosmetics scene.

This year¡¯s event drew participation from cosmetics ingredient producers including global silicon manufacturers and chemical companies who have shared industry trends by displaying base materials for personal care products and up-to-date research and manufacturing equipment as well as technology and product information.

KCC Beauty plans to expand its overseas sales network focusing on European countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy by participating in other regional In-Cosmetics events.

An unnamed official from KCC said that the latest exposure has allowed the company to raise brand recognition and share its outstanding technical skills for manufacturing cosmetics raw material silicon. The company will continue to develop high functional products that reflect latest trends to solidify its position as a global company, the official said.
