South Korea¡¯s Samsung Electronics Co. is showcasing its latest air conditioners at the world¡¯s biggest trade show for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in Italy in hopes its products can make strong appeal to European consumers.

Samsung Electronics has opened its booths to boast its latest air conditioning technology at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) that kicked off on Tuesday (local time) in Milan, Italy.

The four-day event ending on Friday is a bi-annual event dedicated to the production and distribution of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Through the show that draws over 2,000 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors, the company hopes to expand its presence in Europe¡¯s air conditioner market.

At its booths, Samsung Electronics is showcasing a full line-up of its wind-free air conditioners for both residential and commercial use, based on its wind-free air-conditioning technology, which quickly lowers room temperature with strong wind in a fast cooling mode and automatically switches to the wind-free cooling mode by dispersing cold air through micro air holes to maintain a desired temperature.

Korea¡¯s leading appliance maker has also unveiled commercial wind-free air conditioners including One-Way and Four-Way Cassette air conditioners and had opened an experience zone for visitors at MCE.

The Korean company is also presenting a line-up of residential and commercial air conditioners that contain R32, an environmentally-friendly refrigerant, to meet more stringent environmental regulations in Europe.

Samsung Electronics is managing separate booths to introduce customized air conditioner solutions for different spaces such as residence, hotel, and office. It has also opened an exhibition booth dedicated to a building management solution that applies Internet of Things technology to business-to-business products and its smart home solution based on its SmartThings platform.
