Samsung Electronics, announced that it won 55 awards at the world-renowned International Forum (iF) Design Award 2018.

Samsung claimed 40 awards for superior product design, five for professional concept design, eight for communication design, one for packaging design and one for service design.

This year’s feat is Samsung’s greatest yet since it first competed for the iF Design Award in 1996, the company said in a statement.

Hosted by the International Forum Design in Germany, the iF Design Award is one of the world`s top three design contests along with the Red Dot Design Award and IDEA Design Award.

Samsung’s award-winning products at this year’s iF Design Award include the premium built-in refrigerator BRR9000M, the Odyssey gaming PC set, the CHG90 QLED gaming monitor with a super ultra-wide 49-inch 32:9 screen and the convertible wireless charger and battery pack. Samsung’s other recognized products include Galaxy S8 & S8+, Galaxy Note 8, The Frame, QLED TV Q9, the Chef Collection Porcelain and the cordless vacuum Power Gun VS8000.

Samsung’s Bixby Vision that allows users to point their camera at any object for useful information was also recognized in the communication category.
