South Korea¡¯s toy retailer Gaia Corp. will officially distribute toys of American brand Little Tikes in Korea, the company said Thursday.

Gaia said it would sell more than 70 products of Little Tikes on the local market and expects to rake in about 5 billion won ($4.6 million) in revenue next year.

Founded in 1970, the Ohio-based toy manufacturer Little Tikes has become one of the most famous toy brands in the world. The most popular products include Activity Garden and Baby Sports Center.

The toys by Little Tikes have become popular among Korean parents in recent years and they have been sold in the country without an official local sales vendor, causing an issue in getting after sales services.

Gaia has released eight new toys for infants and toddlers including Baby Gym that features an overhead bar with hanging toys, and Little Touch ¡®N¡¯ Go that helps to strengthen their neck muscles.
