LG Electronics Inc. will release its first super-premium smartphone at a limited number of 300 under its high-end line LG Signature.
The South Korean tech giant said on Thursday that LG Signature Edition will be made available only in Korea later this month.
The phone comes with a refined design and top-notch specifications, with the back made of zirconium ceramic, a material resistant to abrasion and corrosion that is used mostly in luxury watches, according to the company.
The price tag is said to be around 2 million won ($1,832).
The 6 gigabyte RAM would enable fast processing even when running multiple apps while the 256 GB internal storage would allow users to save large volumes of high-quality photos, videos and music files.
The phone features a 6-inch OLED FullVision display, with thin bezels for a better grip. It comes in two colors, black and white.
Mounted with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, the device will also offer high-speed wireless charging and mobile payment services.
