LG CNS Co., the system integration unit of South Korea¡¯s LG Group, said on Tuesday that it has so far earned $250 million from supplying electronics computing solutions for public services to governments and public organizations overseas.

LG CNS has been responsible for establishing 40 digitalization solutions in 20 countries including Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Columbia after it won its first deal from the Indonesian National Police in 2006. Its latest orders have been a maritime safety system from Bangladesh and a national health insurance system from Bahrain.

The Bangladesh project is designed to build an information delivery system to connect ships at the Bay of Bengal in the north of Bangladesh with wireless base stations and control center in the coastal region. LG CNS is in charge of establishing a maritime distress and safety system.

The Bahrain project would be the company¡¯s first export of Korean national health insurance system. Korea¡¯s Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service manages the entire process for the project.

LG CNS is a leader in digitalization solutions in Korea. Its domestic sales from the sector reached 480 billion won ($429 million), the highest among its peers, according to National Information Society Agency.
